Coach2

meet COACH and her owner, Abby Black

I adopted Coach a little over a year ago from the Carolina German Shepard Rescue. His litter was a kill shelter, but luckily I found him.

We believe he is a mix of German Shepard, Lab and Pitbull. He instantly became part of our family. He keeps me and my family laughing constantly. Coach will steal your food when you’re not looking, take stuff he’s not supposed to just so you have to chase him, dig holes in flower beds, chase vacuum cleaners and snores in your ear while taking up the entire bed. He’s come close to dislocating my shoulder many times trying to chase squirrels while on his leash.

He’s 85 pounds and will practically knock you over when he jumps on you, greeting you at the door. He’s my shadow and follows me everywhere I go. He is the most loving dog and I have no idea what I would do without him. I love him more than he could ever know and he means more to me and my family than he could ever understand. I would encourage anyone to rescue dogs from shelters because they make the most amazing companions.

It’s so hard to explain in 200 words or less just how much this dog has changed my life for the better and how much he means to me. He is my buddy!
