Hill Top Family,

As many of you have undoubtedly noticed, things have gotten a little chaotic in the veterinary world over the past year. Vet clinics everywhere are struggling to keep up with increased demand because of the growing pet population and the limited availability of referral and emergency hospitals for sick patients. This has resulted in scheduling times further out for appointments and longer wait times for walk-ins.

We know it’s frustrating; we feel it on our end, too. Our goal is and always has been to provide exceptional and timely care for your furry family member. We promise that we are hustling as fast as we can to keep our appointments running on time and to have our walk-ins seen as quickly as we can while still offering the same level of care that our clients have come to expect from us.

During these crazy times, the vast majority of our clients have handled this situation with understanding and patience; we would like to sincerely thank you for the grace you have extended to us. Unfortunately, though, frustration gets the better of some folks, and they lash out against the people who cannot give them what they want at the moment, whether that’s an immediate appointment or a shorter wait time as a walk-in. We would like to ask you to please consider the greater situation and know that we are working our fastest to help you. We never want to decline services to anyone, but abusive behavior toward our team cannot be tolerated.

We’re grateful every day for our amazing clients. You truly are like family to us. We’ll get through all this together and eventually find some normalcy again.

Love you guys – we shih tzu not:

Dr. Ian Scholer
